The Ukrainian Orthodox Church donated medical equipment, purchased by the Novinsky Foundation in Korea, to all regions of Ukraine to curb the coronavirus.

On April 2, 2020, the ruling bishops of the UOC dioceses on behalf of the Kiev Metropolis and Vadim Novinsky's “Intercession” International Charitable Foundation transferred medical equipment to fight the coronavirus to the Poltava and Kherson regions. All regions of Ukraine received 100,000 COVID-19 tests from the Church, according to the Information and Education Department.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Headquarters for Combating the Coronavirus Epidemic at the Office of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky organized the distribution of medical equipment, purchased in Korea by the “Intercession” Charitable Foundation, in the regions.

Earlier, the Primate of the UOC, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kiev and All Ukraine, delivered to Chernivtsi medical equipment for combating coronavirus – a medical ventilator and workwear suits for the doctors who are struggling with COVID-19.

On March 31, the Novinsky Foundation donated assistance in the struggle against COVID-19 – modern biosecurity suits and respirators (N99 and N95) with a high level of protection for combating coronavirus to 6 regions of Ukraine. Then they announced their intention to transfer 100,000 DialPlexQ ™ 2019-nCoV tests, purchased in Korea, to the medical laboratories of Ukraine for the COVID-19 diagnosis.
