After listing a number of meetings with representatives of the Georgian government, Tkachenko noted that “everyone understands that strengthening work in the international arena in the Ukraine-Moldova-Georgia triangle – countries that have suffered from Russian aggression and have a common goal – can enhance our position in cooperation with our Western partners ".

According to the Ukrainian political expert, head of "The Third Sector" centre Andrey Zolotarev, the meeting of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal with the Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia during an official visit to this country could be dictated by the sympathies of the current government towards the OCU.
